His interest in local history has helped the Parrsborough Shore Historical Society, maintaining and the restoration of former Prime Minister, Sir Charles Tupper’s summer home, “Ottawa House-By-The-Sea”. Now a museum and the home of Parrsborough Shore Historical Society.
