Hello
I live in Australia and I'm keen to hear from desecendants of William Henry & Mary Rebecca Brown. I'm the grandson of one of their children, Hubert George Brown (b 1879).

William and Mary had 4 children who survived childhood; (1) Frank Milford Brown (had 3 children; Doreeen, Allan William and Alan Milford. Doreen m. Robert Nichol, had 2 ch, Robert and David. Allan William m. Frances? and had a son Gordon.). (2)Nellie Beatrice Brown (m. Thomas Merrit Webb and had 3; John William and Mary), (3) Laura Louise (m. Grant McLatchie and had son Robert) and (4) Hubert George Brown. Hubert went to the USA early in the 1900's and met/married my grandmother who was visting from Australia. They had a son, Colin, my father. The marriage ended in diviorce in 1919 and my grandmother returned to Australia with Colin. No mention was ever made by my father of Hubert but I found Hubert's NS origins and parents from his Marriage Certificate then Ancestry.com. Hubert married a 2nd time, in 1939, to Marianne Park. They lived in New York and Hubert died there in 1948. It seems there were no children by that marriage.

If there are any readers who can share any further information on descendants of Frank Milford Brown, Nellie Beatrice or Laura Louise I'll be extremely grateful. Happy to ring and speak to anyone if that's preferred...just send me your details please.

Regards
Philip Brown
